Becoming an Anti-Racist Practitioner & Educator workshop
Facilitated by Prita Lal, Alice Nelson, and Leticia Nieto

This workshop in winter and spring is designed to address the commitment of Senate Bill 5227 to eliminating structural racism against all races through anti-racist education. Experienced faculty will facilitate an exploration of oppression, intersectionality, and a systemic critique of power and racism, particularly in higher education.
Social Justice Skills Labs for Equity Practitioners
Facilitated by equity consultant Dr. Leticia Nieto

Throughout the academic year, monthly sessions will provide an interactive, invitational space for faculty and staff to address specific equity challenges, practice anti-oppressive social analysis, strengthen liberatory leadership skills, and increase their repertoires of strategies for change.

Every year, the Evergreen Equity Symposium brings us together with speakers, performances, workshops, and social events to inspire, teach, and celebrate. There will be many opportunities this year to participate in a variety of transformative experiences.
Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Online Module launching fall quarter

This core, foundational online course will provide faculty, staff, and students with a shared experience and common language for approaching our equity work. In this way, we can build a culture and language of mutual support for all Greeners. The course will cover:
- Foundations of belonging
- Exploring our identities
- Addressing our bias
- Understanding our impact
- Tools for allyship
