Colloquium on Team Teaching | Sept 13

The Learning and Teaching Commons is partnering with the Deanery to host a Colloquium on Team Teaching.  This event will be an opportunity to celebrate one of the cornerstones of Evergreen pedagogy – Team Teaching.  Please plan to join us on Friday, September 13th, 2024.

COLLOQUIUM PROGRAM*

Welcome from Provost Noah Coburn

Perspectives on Team Teaching (9:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
We will open with a historical overview of team teaching drawn from the Evergreen Archives, followed by a panel discussion with current and emeritus Evergreen faculty with diverse team teaching experiences

Lunch & Conversation (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
Enjoy a catered lunch while engaging in informal conversations with colleagues.

Planning for Success (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Teaching teams will participate in structured conversation informed by wise practices and useful tools.

*Faculty will be compensated for participation at the rate of $125/day.
