Dear Faculty Colleagues:

As we move toward more sunshine, it’s time to think about SURF, Evergreen’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows (or Friends)!

Faculty are invited to submit applications for SURF projects for the summer of 2021. The application process is outlined here. The deadline this year is Monday, January 25, 2021. (hoping the website deadline gets updated soon!)

For those of you new to SURF, faculty first submit project proposals and we select a set of offerings based on available funds (usually about 15-16 projects). We then we circulate those projects out to students to apply. Faculty are consulted about student applicants, and teams are matched up. 

Please consider this a first reminder! More soon.
