Dear Colleagues:

You may or may not be aware that Evergreen belongs to an international consortium called the Critical Edge Alliance (CEA). 

The Critical Edge Alliance is a global collaborative framework for universities that focus upon student-centered learning, critical thinking, interdisciplinary teaching and research, and social engagement.

The CEA holds conferences to share innovative teaching and learning–this year’s conference has been distilled down to a webinar series in the month of October, focusing on how we can integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals into our work. 

The webinar series is scheduled for a global audience and sessions start at 8:00am on Friday mornings. Please do attend if you can. If you cannot, the webinars will be recorded and available on YouTube. 

Our work on the Olympia EcoDistrict will be featured in the October 22 session. This would be a great chance to learn more about an initiative that has the potential for student involvement for years to come!
