Subject: Zoom Cloud Recordings Moving to Panopto
Happy Spring Quarter!
It’s the start of a new quarter and time to take the next steps towards ending our dependence on Zoom Cloud Recordings. Starting March 25, all new Zoom Cloud recordings will automatically be moved to the trash after they have been successfully imported into Panopto. Recordings made prior to 12/17/2021 will continue to be available via Zoom until the data migration to Panopto is complete. Look for additional communications about that phase of the project later.
- Faculty with new Canvas courses: you and your students will see your Zoom recordings in the Panopto navigation. Zoom Cloud recordings will no longer be accessible via the Zoom link.
- Faculty with a cloned Canvas course: make sure to enable Panopto in your course navigation.
- All Evergreen community members: To access Zoom Cloud recordings, use your Evergreen login to sign in at evergreen.hosted.panopto.com.
