Dear Faculty,
We’re calling on writers and poets—students, staff and faculty—to join us for our Equity Symposium Open Mic: Reflections. Please share the below details with your students, and consider reading your writing as well. Sign up at this link by Wed. April 7 to share work: https://evergreensc.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_54Ghoy1qqRB0Xsy
Thanks for spreading the word! And thanks for participating in the exciting Equity Symposium program next week.
Reflections: Open Mic – April 14th 3:00-3:50
This Equity Symposium join First Peoples and Nightjar Collective in a participatory open mic event. Reflect the water we are swimming in. This event is open to all demonstrations of work from students, staff and faculty. Acts do not have to be a “performance” in any traditional sense. You’re invited to share anything that’s dear to you or something current that can reflect the times we are living in.
Use this form to register to share by Wed. April 7th. We have a limited amount of time, so sign-ups will be determined by first come, first served. You will have between 5-10 minutes to present.
