Happy Friday of Week 1!

I have updated my online videos and guide on accessing electronic resources through the library. I will link to them below and, for those of you already familiar, I will also outline some updates for Spring quarter. You are welcome to share this guide and videos with your students — you can even embed them into your Canvas course! If you still have questions, do not hesitate to reach out.

This Guide to Electronic Resources will walk you through how to locate e-books, streaming media, databases, journal articles, and Archives digital collections.

E-Resources 101 Video Tutorials will walk you through how to find and use e-books, streaming media, databases, and e-journals. If you cannot watch the entire video, skip ahead using the timestamps in the video description.

What’s  New?

I’ve added an Accessibility & E-Resources page to my guide that outlines the various accessibility features we have, links to free audiobooks, and a collection of audio-described streaming films.

You can search for films available through the library by selecting Film and Video from the All Items drop-down menu. This will bring up streaming, DVDs, and VHS.

If you are looking to browse our streaming platforms, e-book platforms, or research databases, these can all be found on our Database List.

The list has been re-organized so that you may filter by Subject (like Fine Arts), Content Type (like Streaming Media), or Provider (like EBSCO).

For e-books and print books required for class, you may also want to browse our Course Materials guide.

Best,

Ray
