Changes coming to Summit in 2021

In these times of remote instruction, the Library has been able to change Summit due dates and automatically renew Summit materials.

Beginning January 1, we are losing this freedom, but we are regaining renewals on Summit items, which we haven’t had in many, many years!

What this means for you:

Summit items with a March 19 due date will remain due on March 19.

Items checked out after January 1, will have a six week loan period. 

Media and other special items will check out for six days. 

All items will now be eligible for one renewal, for a total of twelve weeks (or twelve days in the case of media)! 

This is indeed exciting news!
