Office 365 Part 1 – Office 365 Overview and Intro to Teams
Date: 9/17
Time: 2:30 – 3:30pm

Description: In this session, we will provide a quick refresher on all things Office 365 and take a closer look at OneDrive and the some basics of using Microsoft Teams chat. There will be an opportunity to work in smaller groups in breakout rooms facilitated/supported by staff. This is part 1 of a 2 part workshop.
Faculty please note that many of these topics will also be covered in the Tech Tips training on 9/24 (see below) but with a focus on using these technologies in the classroom.
Office 365 Part 2 – Running a Virtual Meeting in Teams
Date: 9/21
Time: 3 – 4pm
Location: Teams Meeting – all participants in the Part 1 training will receive an invite
Description: In part 2 we will explore Microsoft OneNote, ToDo and learn how to effectively schedule and manage a virtual meeting using Microsoft Teams.
Topics will include:
- Creating a Teams Meeting calendar invite in Outlook
- Agenda sharing
- Note taking
- Collaborative document editing
- Presentations
- Live captioning
Tech Tips for Teaching Online at Evergreen – Faculty Workshop

Time: 1:30 – 3:00pm

Description: In this Faculty-focused training in partnership with the Learning and Teaching Commons, we will provide an update on the state of technology and teaching at Evergreen and cover the following topics:
- Quick highlights of the new Canvas template
- Office 365 overview and Teams update
- Integrating Office 365 with Canvas
- Integrating Zoom with Canvas
- Additional tech tools you may want to consider using
