Keep Teaching Workshop Invitation

Faculty,

As a supplement to the brief time we will have during the faculty meeting today, I would like to invite you to join myself and Elizabeth Williamson for a 1-hour zoom session where we will demonstrate some ways in which you might use Zoom and Google Docs to conduct a remote teaching session.  The goal for this session will be to acquaint you with these tools and demonstrate some strategies for managing and encouraging participation.

The link below will take you to a google document that we will use to anchor the session.  Instructions for joining and testing your computer’s configuration are available in that document.

We are working with our wonderful staff colleagues, Amy Greene and Bridget Irish, to develop full-day immersion sessions for developing plans for Remote Teaching during spring break as well as additional opportunities during evaluation week.  We look forward to announcing those details shortly.

As you all know, this situation is evolving by the hour. Should these plans change, we will certainly keep you informed via email.
