Photoland at The Evergreen State College

Photoland will reopen for the Winter Quarter on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Our Winter Quarter open lab hours are all as follows:

Sunday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm

Monday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Tuesday: 12:00pm – 9:00pm 

Wednesday: 4:00pm – 8:00pm 

Thursday: 10:00am – 9:00pm 

Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm 

Saturday: CLOSED 

We will begin accepting digital print requests and proficiency sign ups on Monday, January 5th, 2026. We will being accepting color film processing requests on Monday, January 12th, 2026. Please see the Current Service Hours page of our website for other important dates this quarter.

Photoland will be closed for Evergreen’s Winter break from Monday, December 15th, through Sunday, January 4th. We will reopen with new Winter Quarter hours (hours still TBD) on Monday, January 5th, 2026.

All print requests received after December 14th will not be completed until we return for Winter break. We are still not accepting any color film processing requests for the time being, but we are hopeful that this service will be available again at the start of Winter Quarter.

Photoland will be closed for Evergreen’s Fall break from Sunday, November 23rd through Saturday, November 29th. We will reopen with regular hours on Sunday, November 30th.

The last day to submit a digital print request before this break is Thursday, November 20th. Any digital print requests submitted after Thursday, will not be completed until after the break.

Photoland will reopen for the quarter on Sunday, September 28th, 2025. Our Fall quarter open lab hours are all as follows:

Thursday: 12:00pm – 9:00pm

We will begin accepting digital print requests and proficiency sign ups on Sunday, September 28th. Unfortunately, our color film processor is still down for maintenance so we will not be taking color film processing requests yet. We will make a post when that service is available.

Photoland will be closed for the summer starting on June 9th, 2025. We will be open during second session for specific program use in our space; we will not have any regular open hours this summer.

We will be accepting print requests via email starting on July 28th for the duration of Summer Quarter Second Session. Once your request has been received, we will notify you what the turn around time will be; expect that the turnaround time will be longer since we do not have regular staff in the office during the summer.

Our color film processor has been taken offline for maintenance so we will not be accepting any color film processing requests this summer.

Got photography questions? Drop in consultation hours are open to all and held on Tuesdays from 3-4pm. 

B&W Film and Darkroom Proficiencies will take place in week 3, 5, and 7 on Fridays from 1:00pm – 5:00pm

We will start accepting service requests (inkjet printing and color film processing) on Monday, March 31st.
