Photoland at The Evergreen State College

Photoland will be reopening our doors to any students, staff, faculty, and *community members* that would like to come use our spaces starting on Monday, July 29th.

We will be open during the following hours from July 29th through August 30th. 

Monday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Tuesday: CLOSED

Wednesday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm

Thursday: 1:00pm – 5:00pm

(ONLY THE DIGITAL IMAGING STUDIO WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THURSDAYS – DARKROOM, SPECIAL PROJECTS, AND B&W FILM PROCESSING WILL BE FOR SPECIFIC PROGRAM USE ONLY)

Friday: CLOSED

Saturday: CLOSED

Sunday: CLOSED

We will still be accepting color film processing requests and print requests through August 30th. Please email us at photolandstaff@evergreen.edu with any questions.

*community members will still need to purchase a daily pass to utilize our facilities during these open hours*

Photoland’s last day open for Spring quarter will be June 10th, 2024. Please make sure that lockers are cleared out and all your files is collected off of our computers before June 10th. The computers will be wiped on June 11th and anything left on them will not be recoverable. Lockers will also be cleared out and anything left behind will be thrown away or taken to police services lost & found.

During Summer quarter, we are only open to specific summer programs operating within our spaces. We will not be open for any community members, students, staff, or faculty outside of the ones enrolled in the programs utilizing our space. However, we will still be offering some of our remote services. Digital print requests will be accepting throughout the entire summer session but the turn around time will be extended from 48 hours to 1 week due to lower staffing in the summer. We will be accepting color film processing requests until August 1st when we will be emptying our color processor to perform maintenance on the machine. We will reopen that service at the start of Fall quarter.
