Photoland Closed 1/17

Photoland will be closed Monday, 1/17, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

All remote orders placed on Monday will be processed when we return on Tuesday, 1/18. 

Winter Quarter Week Two Update

Photoland will open starting Tuesday, 1/11 for in-person lab services for registered students in Carrie Chema and Amjad Faur’s Photography programs only. All other students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to use our remote services. We are still offering remote services such as digital printing, film processing, and scanning services during this time.

Photoland Closure

Given the frequency of recent holiday travel and rising Covid cases, along with the winter weather, photoland will be operating remotely for week one of winter quarter (Jan 03 – Jan 08). We will reassess at the end of the week to determine whether our in person services can resume next week or not.

Winter Break 2021

Photoland’s last day open for in person use Fall quarter will be Sunday December 12, 2021. We will be closed from Monday, December 13th 2021 until Sunday, January 2nd 2022. We will reopen on the 3rd with updated hours for Winter quarter.

Remote services are still available during eval week (December 13th – 17th). The last day for remote orders this quarter will be December 16th. Any orders received or film dropped off after the 16th will be processed when we return in January for Winter quarter.  Due to a higher volume of requests than usual, our turn around time for prints and film is extended to two weeks. Please anticipate this when placing your requests.

Fall Break Week

Photoland is currently closed for the Fall break – we will be closed from November 22nd 2021 – November 27th 2021. We will reopen on Sunday November 28th for our normal hours, 12:30pm – 4:30pm.

Any film dropped off or print requests made within the window of the 22nd-27th, will be processed when we return from break on the 28th. If you have any questions, please email us at and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 

Fall 2021 Operations

We are open for in-person services for Evergreen students who are currently enrolled in a photography class only.

These classes are The Narrative Tableaux and Photography: Foundations.  All other students and community members can still request remote film processing and inkjet printing services by using the “current remote services” link and filling out a request form.
