Photoland is home to two gallery spaces, Gallery Photoland and Woody’s Wall. Gallery Photoland shows work from contemporary artists on the first floor of Evans Hall outside Photoland in the light lounge. Woody’s Wall is a student-centered gallery in the hallway next to the Electronic Media offices.
Photoland also hosts a “Photo of the Month” display which is located across from the lockers when you enter Photoland’s facilities. All students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome to submit for this display! To submit your image for consideration, please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to include your name and title of the work; you may also include a link to any online portfolio of your work that you have (ex. instagram, website, etc). Images must be submitted as TIF, PNG, or high resolution JPEG; images should be properly resized with an ideal resolution of 300 DPI before submitting. If your image does not have a resolution of at least 180 DPI we may not be able to print it.
If you’re interested in having your work shown on our Instagram (@evergreen_photoland) please send us an email at email@example.com with the photos you would like to display. Besides instagram, we also have a few virtual galleries and photography collections that are available to view at see.evergreen.edu. We have collections of over 40 years of photography at Evergreen from students, faculty, and community members.
There are links to the virtual galleries in the drop down menu of this page or they are listed below for your convenience.
