REQUIRED Title IX Training for Faculty
We hope the end of the quarter is treating you well! We’re writing to remind you that all faculty are required to complete an annual, in-person training in Title IX, sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, and non-discrimination. There are three opportunities to fulfill this expectation for the 2020-21 academic year.
The dates of this training will be EITHER April 28th from 1:00-5:00 pm OR May 10th from 12:00-4:00 pm OR May 21st from 1:00-5:00 pm via Zoom (links below). We realize that you have many competing demands on your time. We did our best to find a time that would work for the largest possible number of faculty.
This annual requirement was established through the process of collective bargaining between the College and the UFE, and reflects our shared commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable campus. This was negotiated as an in-person training, and so cannot be completed except at scheduled times. We welcome your suggestions and feedback about how to make future trainings as accessible as possible. Thank you for all you are already doing to make the campus more inclusive and equitable!
