Equity Symposium 2026

Evergreen will hold its eighth annual Equity Symposium on Wednesday, April 15th
Each year, the Equity Symposium creates space for our community to come together toward the common goal of growing our knowledge and skills in the areas of equity, social justice, and liberation. This year, our theme is Fires Rising: Igniting Resilient Movements. Join us as we rise together to learn from the fires of the past and tend to the flames that ignite and sustain us.

- 10:00am-12:00pm in The House of Welcome: Opening Plenary with Mapuche Educator Silvia Calfuqueo Lefio and documentary filmmaker Kelly Baur
- 12:00pm-1:00pm Community lunch in the House of Welcome catered by Coalescence Event Services featuring locally sourced ingredients prepared by Chef Lela
- 1:00pm-5:00pm in Purce Hall: Student, staff, and faculty-led Concurrent Workshop Sessions. Workshop descriptions coming soon.
- 7:00pm-9:00pm* Keynote with Community Organizer, Author, and Co-Founder of United We Dream Cristina Moreta Jimenez
