Save the Date: Annual Learning and Teaching Colloquium 2025
Mark your calendars for the second Annual Learning and Teaching Colloquium on Friday, September 12, 2025. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s colloquium will explore how Evergreen’s distinctive pedagogical approaches serve our mission as a public institution.

Open to ALL Faculty
This event is open to ALL faculty members at Evergreen – whether you teach in teams, solo, full-time, part-time, or as an adjunct. The Faculty Experience Survey highlighted our collective desire for more community building and teaching support—this event directly addresses those needs.
Event Format
- Morning: Welcome from Provost, plenary by Sara Gardner, designer and director of Bellevue College’s nationally recognized Navigators program (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Catered lunch for networking and informal conversations (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM)
- Afternoon: Neurodiversity workshop by Cole Whitaker OR Planning Time (1:30 PM – 4:00 PM)
