Faculty Note | Shawn Hazboun | 2021-2022

Shawn Hazboun published an edited volume (with coauthor Hilary Boudet from Oregon State University) entitled, Public Responses to Fossil Fuel Export: Exporting Energy and Emissions in a Time of Transition (Elsevier 2022). The volume examines the social dimensions of fossil fuel export, bringing together case examples and public opinion research from around the world, and extending the energy social science literature which has formerly not fully considered export. Among the chapters Shawn authored, one is coauthored with an Evergreen computer science student, Huy Nguyen, and two Evergreen professors, Kathleen Saul and Richard Weiss.
