Faculty Note | Shangrila Joshi | 2021-2022

Shangrila Joshi published her first book ‘Climate Change Justice and Global Resource Commons’ in April 2021. In March 2022, she published a book chapter ‘North-South Relations: Colonialism, Empire and International Order’ in the ‘Routledge Handbook of Global Environmental Politics‘. She presented papers on ongoing and new research, ‘Political Ecology of Guthi: Hiding in Plain Sight’ and ‘Indigenous Climate Epistemologies of the Newa’ at the 2021 and 2022 annual conferences respectively of the American Association of Geographers.
