Hi everyone,
I hope you have all been able to enjoy the wonderful sun! I am reaching out to request your help in honoring the amazing work our graduates have done over the past year or more. We are hoping to honor a broad spectrum of disciplines. We need your stories or examples of work that we could highlight as a part of commencement. Our students always indicate that the academic mentorship by faculty is the thing they value the most during their time at Evergreen. This is one way for students to feel the love that has defined our in-person graduation ceremonies in our virtual space.
Examples of student work we would love to include:
Depending on the file type and where the material best fits, your submissions may appear in the printed program, in the ceremony, and/or on the website. Submissions can be credited on behalf of a group (Created by graduating students of Drawing: The Figure, as an example) or include specific students if they grant the permission for us to publish their name alongside the work. In the event individual student permission is needed, please share the names and we will reach out and confirm directly.
You can email submissions to me at kozakj@evergreen.edu or, especially if they are too large for email, share them with me via OneDrive.
For possible inclusion in the printed program or virtual ceremony, submissions must be received no later than May 24th, but we can include submissions on the website that are sent past that date.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you all for your continued work in support of our students!
Best,
Jazmyne
