Our Greener Community: 2020 Post-Election Listening Circles
No matter the outcome of this election, we will all have thoughts and concerns about what comes next. To connect, listen, and support each other through this unprecedented and uncertain time the Learning and Teaching Center invites all members of the Evergreen community to participate in a virtual Post-Election Listening Circle. These sessions offer an opportunity for community building through engaging in the act of deep listening as we share our thoughts and feelings, supported by a skilled, neutral facilitator. The first listening circle is scheduled for November 4th, 12:00-1:00 PM.

If you would like to participate, but cannot attend on November 4th, please indicate your interest on the RSVP form. Further dates will be scheduled, depending on interest and available facilitators.
The facilitated circle practice uses a three-prompt protocol in which each participant takes one turn (or passes) to respond to a prompt and to listen closely to others. To create a supportive listening environment and reduce power differentials, circles will be conducted in small peer cohorts. You will be asked to select your preferred cohort (student, staff, faculty, other) on the RSVP form.
