Hello everyone!
We’ve been on a wild ride the past few weeks, haven’t we?
Help us help you keep the good times rollin’:
- Invite a tutor to visit your program via Zoom (contact Ariel birksa@evergreen.edu to arrange)
- Include our website in your syllabus. The website describes how to make an appointment: https://evergreen.edu/writingcenter
Link to this helpful guide to remote learning, wellness, and attention made by the Writing Center and the Keep Learning / Keep Teaching team (and look out for it in other places, as well!)
About our tutors
Our tutoring staff is small in number but great in spirit. They help their peers via a one-step-ahead approach. They encourage students not to give up and to define goals and work towards these goals as writers. Goals are defined by the writer and can include almost anything: more compelling writing, writing that they feel proud of, grammar that supports their goals, searching for solutions side by side, and more.
Questions? Concerns? Complaints? Compliments?
