Pedagogy Pop-Up Office Hours from the Learning and Teaching Commons Faculty Scholar

One of the best things about teaching at Evergreen is companionship in the work! You don’t have to write learning goals, devise assignments, create learning activities, determine assessment approaches – or even just think things through — alone. I’ll be hosting informal Zoom office hours for 30 minutes at 9:00 am and again at 4:00 pm, Wednesday (March 25) through Friday (March 27) of this week, and Monday through Wednesday of next (March 30 through April 1). The meeting URL for all sessions is https://evergreen.zoom.us/j/642980285. Join in at any time, to talk with everyone who’s there – and if you log on toward the end of a session but have more to say, we’re good to keep going. These Pop-Up Office Hours are for collaboration and companionship while we all create inclusive and equitable Evergreen learning opportunities (and finish winter quarter evals . . .). So technical questions about Zoom and Canvas will be referred to the experts in Academic Computing and the Keep Teaching Team. And I’ll encourage you to attend one of the remote sessions the Keep Teaching team is setting up if you want to focus specifically on teaching remotely. For information about all of the support opportunities available to Evergreen educators, and for lists of online resources, join the Keep Teaching website on Canvas (https://canvas.evergreen.edu/enroll/99DCY9) and update your Canvas notification preferences so that you receive timely updates (https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10624-4212710344). See you at a Pop-Up!
