Courtney shares her experience on sustainability and fermentation as a philosophy and practice. Join us to learn about how these modalities apply to more than just ingredients and practice and where sustainability is least represented, but equally important.
About the Speaker
Courtney Jafferian was born on the east coast but her love for agriculture migrated her west, where she eventually landed in Olympia, WA. After receiving her degree in business at Evergreen, Courtney acquired a job at a brewery and began her fermented hot sauce journey — the perfect marriage of her love of microbes, fermentation, agriculture, community and entrepreneurship.
