To complete the CERT Basic training course, attendance for all 3 days will be necessary.
If you are unable to attend all 3 CERT training days after signing up, please notify jackie.laverne@evergreen.edu.

Space is limited in this training opportunity, and we want to provide others to fill the spaces as they become available.

These classes follow a model developed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and are offered in cities across the United States. In the classes, students will gain hands
on skills such as fire suppression on small live fires, rendering light first aid in a disaster situation, performing light search and rescue, and many other valuable community volunteer disaster and emergency life skills.

CERT is aimed at preparing groups of our Evergreen Community to prepare for and respond to disasters, and lend their training to volunteer work in the community.

All Evergreen Staff and Faculty must have approval from Department Leads to attend classes.
