Commons Advisory Council

The Commons Advisory Council (CAC) plays a key role in shaping the future of teaching and learning at Evergreen. The Council meets 1-2 times each quarter during governance hours and is responsible for developing strategies to enhance our educational practices. Specific responsibilities include:

• Providing feedback on a call for proposals for the Summer Institute.
• Reviewing Summer Institute proposals.
• Advising on Summer Institute program selection.
• Supporting workshops for proposal development and for conveners whose proposals are accepted.

Participation in the CAC not only contributes to the growth of our community, but also offers unique professional development opportunities. Benefits described by previous members include:
