Subject: Dear faculty colleagues,

I am writing to invite you to join a Community Care Forum next Wednesday or Friday (details below) as we return to campus in the wake of the tragic death of Jonathan Rodriguez and the hospitalization of two students and a police officer.

* Please note that this forum will not be recorded in an effort to provide a space for open discussion. 

The purpose of this forum is to provide you with updated information and tools to care for yourself and students. After an update from leadership on the campus response, the Learning and Teaching Commons will facilitate a mini-workshop on taking a trauma-responsive approach to supporting students, colleagues, and staff teams. The session will conclude with the option to join a facilitated restorative circle with faculty colleagues. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to submit questions in writing for response.
