Faculty Note | Steven Hendricks | 2021-2022

Steven Hendricks is on sabbatical through Spring quarter. He is researching and drafting a novel related to the life and work of Samuel Beckett. Anything but a biographical portrait, Steven’s work is interested in Beckett as a reader and plays imaginatively with Beckett’s relationship to major authors (Dante, Joyce, Johnson, Proust, Geulincx, etc.) and the corresponding development of aesthetic and intellectual concerns through the early prose.
