Subject: Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs): COVID Safety and Title IX
Dear faculty colleagues –
The United Faculty of Evergreen and the college have come to agreement on two memoranda of understanding (MOUs; attached). We had tentative agreement on January 17. The agreements were ratified and then signed on February 8.
The first agreement updates an earlier fall MOU regarding COVID safety, and extends many of those provisions through summer 2021.
The second agreement concerns Title IX, and comes in response to policy changes adopted by the college this past August, following new rules from the federal Department of Education.
