Pre-Institute Assignments

Registration form

Each team member must complete their own registration form. The registration form is used to plan on-campus housing, accommodate dietary restrictions, and create institute name tags and participant lists.

Please refer to the pre-institute assignment list, which was emailed to your team, for instructions. Team working on a learning community project should complete the learning community audit. Teams working on a teaching and learning project should complete the teaching and learning audit.

Team Photo with Caption
Due: May 31, 2019

Please provide us a group photo of your team in .jpg format, along with a caption listing team member names (from left to right). Each team will have a dedicated page on the institute website, and team photos will be posted on this page. In addition, team pictures will be used in an opening PowerPoint presentation and for Resource Faculty’s information.

Theme Song
Due: May 31, 2019

Please provide us with a theme song that characterizes your hard work leading up to and during the institute. Send the title and artist of the song to the Washington Center.
Washington Center staff will use the theme song, along with the team photo, to create a PowerPoint presentation introducing teams at the Monday evening Welcome Dinner.

Bright Ideas (Proposal form)

We invite institute participants to share good practices from your campus in the form of “Ed” talks – 10-15-minute presentations with or without audio visual equipment. These Bright Ideas sessions will occur on Tuesday, July 9, at 7:00 PM. We will try to accommodate as many proposals as possible. Please submit a proposal form to be considered for a presentation slot. 

Please bring a laptop, your presentation on a thumb drive, or email your presentation to the Washington Center.
