John Kirkpatrick (he/him) has had two publications and a patent published in recent years. The patent, “Methods for Isolating Nucleic Acids from Samples“, was awarded to a co-authorship group in 2020. Two articles were published in Frontiers of Microbiology, “Microbial Selection and Survival in Subseafloor Sediment” and “Influence of 16S rRNA Hypervariable Region on Estimates of Bacterial Diversity and Community Composition in Seawater and Marine Sediment“.
