Community Reflection and Feedback on Teaching (CRAFT)

The Community Reflection and Feedback on Teaching (CRAFT) provides confidential and anonymous student feedback about their learning. This technique will let you know of potential issues while you still have time to course correct. Students will gain practice providing constructive feedback.  A facilitator will visit your class and work with students to develop a consensus response to the following questions:

  • What supports your learning?
  • What hinders your learning?
  • What can faculty do to improve your learning?
  • What can you do to improve your learning?

Faculty who sign up for this program should expect:

  • A brief meeting with trained CRAFT facilitators to describe the process and learn from you about the course or program.
  • A 60-minute scheduled session in weeks 4, 5, or 6 when CRAFT facilitators will meet with your students without you present.
  • A follow-up meeting with you to share a summary of the results.
