Recast | Update: Visual Arts and Science Operations

Date: Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 3:01 PM

Dear faculty and staff colleagues –

I’m writing with further news about Visual Arts and Science Operations.

I’m pleased to report that Peter Robinson (robinson@evergreen.edu) is back at work after an extended leave. Welcome back, Peter! My heartfelt thanks go to Sina Hill, who stepped in at a moment’s notice to support science operations as our temporary manager. I also want to thank all the SITs, aides, and farm staff for cheerfully chipping in over the last few weeks.

I’m also happy to announce that Emily Adams (adamse@evergreen.edu) has agreed to continue in the role of temporary arts operations manager until August 31. Emily and I continue to work closely with our arts technicians to determine how we can offer more support in fall quarter. Our visual arts technicians, aides, and faculty continue to surface great ideas, and I’m thankful for their continued understanding and patience.

Finally, this process is affording me the chance to know our visual arts and science staff more intimately. You are an impressive and remarkable group.

Sincerely –

Trevor
