This video production was commissioned by Provost Barbara Leigh Smith to commemorate the “real” 25th anniversary of the college, that is, from the year that students arrived. It was shown at the annual fall convocation and features still images that honor the early history of Evergreen, “explain” the Five Foci of Evergreen’s pedagogy, and welcome new faculty and staff to the ongoing experiment called, Evergreen. It also contains a montage of staff and faculty portraits and a short tribute to Evergreen’s first female president, Dr. Jane Jervis. Musical quotations from the 1970s and beyond provide audio commentary.
