Hello, and welcome to the Evergreen Woodshop! Although we are under restricted operations (no walk-ins for Fall 2020), the shops are still available to support enrolled students and programs in the visual arts and sciences. If you’re looking for assistance with a class project- how to find materials, process questions, need a tool, or are just looking for some inspiration, we’re here to help! Even during this time of limited operations, we can provide remote assistance and help you source materials from our inventory. With some time for advanced planning, we can help you create a workshop training for your class.
People build a wide range of beautiful projects here. Got an idea? Our shop aides and technician are here to help you make the most of it.
We have a fully appointed machine room with central dust collection at all stations. Equipment is arranged to accommodate a maximum of 15 people at once, while our assembly area (we call the ‘Atrium’) provides ample bench space for hand tool work and assembly. Glass ceilings and clerestory windows provide ample natural light for an ideal creative environment in these spaces.
