Western Gray Squirrels are the largest tree squirrel in the Pacific Northwest.  They live in low elevation oak, maple and coniferous forests.  They eat seeds, nuts, acorns, berries and leaves.  They store food in hollow trees and animal burrows.  They nest in trees, nest boxes and attics.
