Steller’s Jays live in the wooded areas of Pacific Northwest.  They are frequent visitors to backyards and gardens.  They eat insects, snails, seeds, berries, nuts, and small animals like tiny frogs and songbird nestlings.  They like to eat the Red Flowering Currant fruit.  At bird feeders, they favor peanuts and sunflower seeds.
