Practice Math Quiz 8
No Math Quiz 8 covering Math Problem Set #8 material is scheduled during Week 10. You can find a Practice Math Quiz 8 at Information about and preparation suggestions for Math Exam #2
Math Problem Set #8 Solutions
- Math Problem Set #8 Solutions. Compare these solutions to what is in your Math PSN. Make notes, corrections, or complete problems using a different color ink directly in your PSN. This (along with looking over lecture notes) will serve as strong reviews and solidification of the material.
- Reminder: Math Problem Set Notebook spot checks will occur week 10 Tue. Dec. 5 in class during the Math Exam – please bring it with you to class on that day. Notebooks will be evaluated on: organization & clarity; attempts at completion; evidence that provided solutions were used to correct/complete your solutions. Notebooks will be checked for entries since the first check in week 5, so use a post-it note (or equivalent) to mark your PSN to that point.

Physics extra help Friday Dec. 1
I (John) plan to spend much of the day in the lab classroom (2238 Lab 2). Feel free to drop by with any questions as you prepare for the final week of the quarter! I expect to be there from roughly 10 AM to 3 PM, with a lunch break in there somewhere around noon…
Update: I won’t be on campus until later, probably 12:30 or so.
Second Update: OK, I’ve arrived (12:40). I understand at least one person came by looking for me. I’ll try to stay later than I originally said; I also may have to make a quick run back home if the electrician needs me.
