Ancestry is Not a Crime: A Tribute to Gordon Hirabayashi

Located on the 2nd floor of the Daniel J. Evans Library, this display features the story of Japanese-American activist Gordon Hirabayashi and his resistance to the Japanese internment camps during World War II. Gordon Hirabayashi was born in Seattle, Washington and was a student at the University of Washington. The installation is a traveling exhibition from Seattle University.
