Part of my emeritus work, going slowly so far compared to research and writing, is sifting my 40 years of Evergreen teaching, learning and deaning for what’s worth having above the surface now.
Here are links to primary documents and reflections on physics, sustainable design, and “related subjects” (the local catchphrase for whatever has got drawn into one of Evergreen’s interdisciplinary programs¹).
¹ “Program”, in Evergreen language, means a team-taught, integrated body of activities, the full load for its students, and even more important, for its faculty. (Little at Evergreen is pure. Programs as offered have often stretched this definition in various ways. But this is the central idea.)

§ remarks to Trustees at Emeritus Meeting (2012)
§ Joining the Conversation: An older essay (2001) which argues that college education needs a better directive metaphor than the market, suggests one, and does some work with it.
The collection will grow as time allows.
