Poking around in the archives we found these 16mm reels shot by staff member, Woody Hirzel in the early 1970s. These color films are silent but provide a memorable look at Evergreen’s first graduation ceremony, staged in the Library lobby. In attendance are Governor Dan Evans, President Charles McCann, the Evergreen Singers conduced by faculty member, Don Chan, and speeches (without sound!) by Charles McCann and Charlie Teske.
