- Duties

This position works under the direct supervision of the Contracts, Grants & Procurement, Procurement Administrator and supports the warehouse operations. The warehouse is a specific location within the State Parks Headquarters’ building that covers a diverse set of high-level tasks that include: mail room functions, check and money handling (including petty cash), package receiving and distribution, motor pool management, campus pass management, inventory management, supply room functions, bank deposit records, credit card operations, asset management, surplus, customer service, procurement functions. The Procurement & Supply Support Specialist 1 plays an important role in warehouse operations and works closely with many different internal customers and vendors.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Keep the warehouse safe, locked, secured, and orderly.
- Receive, sort and disperse mail and packages to intended recipients.
- Safeguard, log and transfer checks and money to the revenue section.
- Manage petty cash box, safeguard, and perform periodic petty cash counts.
- Provide customer service by greeting customers, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
- Check motor pool vehicles in and out to customers.
- Assist customers with purchase or fuel card issues or concerns.
- Place procurement orders and reconcile purchase cards.
- Review other staff’s P-card reconciliations.
- Prepare packages for delivery and ship using carrier software.
- Manage campus parking passes.
- Review cash receipt transmittals (CRTs), shift summaries, credit card transaction reports, permit pass reports and receipts for accuracy and completeness and follows up.
- Alphabetize files and review and inputs data into Access database.
- Manage supply locker and inventory by maintaining and reordering supplies.
- Assist in the asset management program.
- Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduation or GED equivalent AND three (3) years of clerical experience, two of which must include experience in a purchasing or closely related field, OR completion of two years college-level work with major study in business administration or purchasing management, OR one year of college-level work AND one (1) year of purchasing experience.
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute and enter numerical data utilizing the 10-key.
- Valid unrestricted (except for corrective lenses) driver’s license.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic level skills using Microsoft office (basic formatting, editing, printing functions, and understands the document page setup).
