Picture yourself supporting the Accounts Payable Manager and the Fiscal Analyst Team.
With your experience, you will perform timely review and distribution of purchase card (p-card) transactions and invoice processing.

Duties
Our Fiscal Analyst 1,
- Processes invoices via Order Payment Forms (OPFs), A-20 forms and utility p-card (agency purchase card) in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Office of Financial Management (OFM), and WDFW policies and procedures.
- Reviews documents for accuracy/completeness and assigns object coding.
- Supports the timely and accurate distribution of agency purchase card (p-card) transactions.
- Ensures completeness of p-card log/statement against receipts by reviewing, correcting, and troubleshooting documents.
- Confirms purchases are in compliance with Fiscal Office, Agency and Statewide accounting policy and procedures.
- Contacts employees/vendors to obtain receipt and/or resolve discrepancies which can include invalid master index, prevailing wage form and inventory tags being assigned.
- Makes sure all applicable sales taxes are being paid.
- Completes, batches and processes p-card log for payment.

- Work Setting, including hazards:
- Work environment is a busy office setting.
- Teleworking options are currently available.
- Schedule:
- Typically, Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Workload demands may require work outside the assigned work hours and adjustment of work schedules.
- Customer Interactions:
- This position may have a relatively heavy level of interaction with vendors & field staff, by email, phone, and in-person.
- Specialized Payables staff are expected to respond quickly (24 hours or sooner) to inquiries from vendors and staff.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of accounting and/or bookkeeping.
- Education in accounting may substitute for experience.
- Knowledge of state and WDFW financial systems including Agency Financial Reporting System (AFRS), Enterprise Reporting, and Financial Toolbox.
- Ability to consistently follow applicable fiscal guidelines, regulations, principles, and standards.
- Ability to responsibly and accurately handle the public’s money when processing financial transactions.
