About the Department
Pierce County Parks and Recreation manages over 5,200 acres of open space, trails, developed and undeveloped parks.  We provide recreational programs and infrastructure in active and passive parks and trails. The department consists of three divisions:  Parks and Recreation, Administration and Resource Stewardship. Our mission is to be a leader in creating livable communities by providing opportunities for people to connect with nature, learn about sustainable practices, live healthy lifestyles, and enjoy vibrant community spaces.

Position Summary

Pierce County Parks is accepting applications for an extra hire front desk position at Sprinker Recreation Center. This is a customer service position that works with our customers that come in to utilize our Sprinker Recreation Center.

  • Processing registrations and payments for recreation activities
  • Greeting customers, and answering phone calls
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED, minimum 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous cash handling experience is highly desired.
  • Customer service related work is preferred.
