The Health and Safety Committee (HSC) seeks to create and promote a safe and healthy campus for all community members by fostering a strong culture of safety awareness, proactively identifying and resolving safety threats, and encouraging health and wellness.

The HSC member duties may include

• reviewing Accident Investigation Reports to reduce/eliminate hazards
• evaluating and improving the workplace Accident Prevention Program
• reviewing and advancing current safety training programs
• forming and chairing subcommittees for particular safety concerns
