Resource Faculty
The Washington Center partners with a network of resource faculty to support our programming and projects. These higher education professionals represent a range of experience in curriculum design, pedagogy, student services, and administration at diverse institutions. Our resource faculty share our commitment to success for all students with a focus on first-generation and historically under-represented populations. They are well-versed on high impact practices, including integrated curriculum and learning communities.

Learning Community Organizations
National Learning Communities Collaborative (NLCC) – a cohort of learning community practitioners and researchers representing diverse organizations whose efforts are directly related or contribute to advocacy and/or research/scholarship within learning communities theory and practice.
National Learning Communities Association (NLCA) – committed to advancing college student learning, success, and development through networking, advocacy, research, and professional development within learning communities theory and practice.
Washington Learning Communities Consortium (WLCC) – a group of two-year and four-year institutions working together to foster, nurture, and support integrative learning in Washington state
Visiting Scholars
The Washington Center welcomes visiting scholars with research or teaching interests aligned with the mission and pedagogies of the Center and/or The Evergreen State College. Visiting scholars are provided with an office space and administrative support to coordinate meetings, speaking opportunities, and other research activities. [Learn more]
