This series, simply entitled “Meet Education” was recorded at the old Evergreen TV studios as a response to the Washington State budget cuts in the late 70’s and the hostility of the legislature and the local press. Dean Clabaugh, Evergreen’s first Executive Director, answers questions from local reporters and members of the community about Evergreen’s approach to higher education, enrollment, campus safety, and the college mascot, the geoduck clam.
