This series, simply entitled “Meet Education” was recorded at the old Evergreen TV studios as a response to the Washington State budget cuts in the late 70’s and the hostility of the legislature and the local press. Here, Evergreen’s second President, Dan Evans answers questions from local reporters and members of the community about Evergreen’s approach to higher education, and the choice of the geoduck for the college mascot.
