Evergreen’s founding Associate Director of Library Services, David Carnahan, discusses the conception and planning for Evergreen’s library. He places the special emphasis on a strong relationship between the library and media services in order to broaden the definitions of learning for students and faculty and to situate the library firmly within the teaching function of the college. This video is part of the Dreams and Goals: Early Visions of Evergreen a series, produced in a 1974 Public Information student contract.
