This series, simply entitled “Meet Education” was recorded at the old Evergreen TV studios as a response to the Washington State budget cuts in the late 70’s and the hostility of the legislature and the local press. This clip is a roundtable discussion with Arnold Tucker, Chairman of the Western Washington Taxpayer’s Committee on Higher Education, Valerie Winslow, a reporter for The Daily Olympian, and Evergreen’s second president, Dan Evans about Evergreen’s unique education.
