This series, simply entitled “Meet Education” was recorded at the old Evergreen TV studios as a response to the Washington State budget cuts in the late 70’s and the hostility of the legislature and the local press. Here, Dan Evans, Evergreen’s second president, is grilled by Arnold Tucker, Chairman of the Western Washington Taxpayer’s Committee on Higher Education about criticisms of Evergreen enrollment projections and budget.
