Proposed Week 10 Schedule for Final Exam and Exam Revision Workshop

In order to give you as much time for the Week 10 Monday March 12 Cumulative Final Exam and to accommodate our final class meeting on Thursday March 15 (which will mostly be an Exam Revision Workshop and quarter wrap-up), I propose the following:

Week 10 Monday March 12:

  • Final Exam from noon – 3pm.
    • Note this starts 1 hour earlier than our normal 1pm start time.
  • I will arrange for proctoring so that you can continue to take the exam should you choose until 5pm, at which point I will collect the exam.
  • Our location is likely to be Lab 1 054.

Week 10 Thursday March 15:

  • I would like to have a Program Potluck from 9 – 9:30am (breakfast-type food and beverages).
    • Note this starts 30 minutes earlier than our normal 9:30am start time.
    • Note that this is subject to change depending on the rest of the AMR schedule, in which case it might be a joint lunch potluck from noon – 1pm with Matter and Motion. At this point, this seems unlikely.
  • We will have an Exam Revision Workshop (similar to the Group Quizzes you have completed after Monday’s Individual Quizzes) during our regular class meeting time from 9:30 – 11:30am. During this time, we will also engage in some other quarter-ending activities.
  • Our location is likely to be Lab 1 054.

Final Exam Revisions due Monday March 18 by noon to Krishna’s office, Lab 2 room 3255 (slide under office door).

  • Final Exam Revisions need not be typeset.
  • Requirements for highest quality of clarity and correctness remain unchanged, as expected for Quiz Revisions.
